Our experience is that any tax advice and planning must be tailored to the individual circumstances of our clients and that ‘one size fits all’ tax planning may not meet their needs.  This is especially true for those with complex tax affairs but is also often the case for clients with less complex affairs.

It is mainly for this reason that we, as a firm, believe that we need to spend time with our clients to understand and build up a picture of their affairs and objectives before offering and providing detailed tax advice.  This is equally important for individual and corporate clients.

Generally our initial approach will be to undertake detailed discussions with our clients to understand their business and its tax position as well as the personal and tax affairs of its owners/directors (as applicable).

It is important for us to have an understanding of the future plans for the business and the individuals in both the long and short term so that we may work together with the client to build up an overall tax strategy encompassing the business, the owners and their families as appropriate.

We regularly review the advice that has been provided to the client to ensure that it remains valid in relation to changes in both tax legislation and the business, personal and financial circumstances of the client so that, if necessary, the original advice can be adjusted as appropriate.

We do not offer tax schemes but apply recognised tax planning methods in a bespoke and innovative way to achieve clients’ specific requirements.
